Spring!

Mom’s been really BORING all year, apparently the whole figuring out a thesis and having more classes than regular all at once is making her tired or something. Lazy thing.. Anyways.. She had a bout of energy a while back and stuck some seeds in the ground, then left it all alone until most of the emerging plants had almost succumbed to mold and mosses.. But the last week or so she’s been trying to save the things, giving them a bit of air and wind to dry out the surface and perhaps even keep the mold and such in check.

But – despite horrible growing condition the beans and cucumbers are actually flowering!

And we’ve even got a few beans!

Mom has stuck more seeds in the ground, and today we went about outside and looked at little bitty plants sticking their noses up into the sun and warmth.. Spring is here!
