Ok.. So this actually happened a little while ago while the heat wave was still over us, but we were reminded of it out on our walk today. We were out walking and I was checking my pee mails and watering the vegetation around here. It’s really important keeping the plants moist, and they dry out so fast when it’s hot like that! I take my peeing duty real serious, I assure you!
Anyways.. I’d watered a rather large plant by the sidewalk and suddenly Mom started laughing! Apparently some convention of earwigs had been in there, sheltered from the sun and now they were fleeing from my pee! Hahaha… That was so funny…
Can you hear me, little earwig? If you’re not being good I’ll pee on you again! Hah!
Pee Ess: while searching the Internet to find out that earwigs are called earwigs in English we saw some HUGE ones from Australia. Oh.. And the Norwegian name for earwig is “saksedyr” translated that literally means “scissor animal” – can’t you see it’s got a pair of scissors on it’s butt?
